Past Events: Beneath the Sky

A very successful art exhibition took place recently at the Church House, South Tawton. It featured original work by local artists John Christian and Kari McGowan. Blessed with reasonable weather for a change, the venue was busy all weekend. A large number of paintings were sold, and many interesting conversations were held!

Lots of glowing feedback comments were left by visitors, for example:

“Well done, a very eclectic and enjoyable selection of two very talented artists.”

“Fabulous selection of lovely paintings by two very talented local artists.”

Teresa Christian, who led the team of event organisers, summed up the event by saying: “it was lovely to see so much local interest in Kari and John’s paintings, which worked really well together.”
